We only use a couple of suppliers for our composite panels as we know the quality of the product and their dimensions. However, if you have a very specific composite panel colour or style that you want and have seen it somewhere online then either, you or us, can order these to have shipped to our fabrication site. As all of our gates are made to measure, our fabrication team can accommodate most requests.

However, experience has told us that offering too many choices can lead to indecision, disagreements and a lot of lost time. So when our surveyor comes to measure up they will bring samples of our most popular boards enabling you to see the colours in natural light and feel their textured finish.

A composite gate is a long term investment into your property so we want to be sure that you are happy with the choices you've made before fabrication commences.

This can also include the height positioning of the gate. You may have existing outdoor fixtures and fittings such as ground floor eves, which may effect gate positioning and post height? Or you may have small pets that you need to remain inside your back garden when left to roam free. Alternatively you want to leave a gap for your cat or even hedgehogs to be able to wander into your garden. All these scenarios can be discussed with your surveyor.

Composite Gate Options

All our gates come with standard Locinox key lock but alternative or addition bolts and locks can be fitted too.

The top of your gate can really add to the overall look with the inclusion of composite screens becoming more and more popular or your can add spikes, ball tops or fleur de lis ornamental metal toppers too.

As our local fabricators are metal welders they can also make a bespoke metal gates too. Typically these will be made from steel or wrought iron and some can also construct aluminium gates too, although this does require a different form of welding and a dedicated contamination free area which is why it isn't always practical to offer for our our fabricators.

If composite gates stretch you budget a little too far metal gates are a a lower cost option but still provide a low maintenance option compared to wooden gates.

As our fabricators will provide your very own made to measure metal gates there is much scope to design your metal gates for a traditional feel or more modern.

Thick metal horizontal bars can be used, especially for metal driveway gates to provide a less transparent option if privacy is still a priority for you.
